Farming Primals make 100-700+ Gold an hour

-Lets cut to the chase shall we?-
(Posted before, but was deleted because I couldn't rename)
(I am the original poster n the other site, I am bringing it here, because I can)

    Primal Fire:
    Searing Elemental

    Average drop rate:
    24-26%

    Average Motes per minute:
    1-2

    Average Motes/Primals per Hour:
50-120 motes or 5-12 Primals Per Hour

    Average price on AH:
    20-35g

    Why these guys?
Sure you can go to Elemental Plat., but those guys are 70-71,
with only a small increase in the drop rate (34%), the more
you can kill, the more you can get; its simple enough. Now,
if there is competition with the Searing Elementals, go to
Elemental Plat, you can find it: Here

    Primal Water:
    Shimmerscale Eel

    Average Drop Rate:
    13-20%

    Average Motes per Minute:
1-4 (depending on size of pull)

    Average Motes/Primals per Hour:
60-240 Motes or 6-24 Primals per Hour

Note*: You must have an AoE and be able to pull most of the Eels, with no
competition in the area; if everything goes right, you will get your 24 Primals.
If not, expect 6-10 Primals per hour.

    Average price on AH:
    14-54g

    Why these guys?:
One, there are normally no competition for these little guys, why? Well,
people need to stop thinking wowhead.com or such are always right.
In my experience, I typically get 7-10 Primal an hour on average. That's
w/o AoE, with it; the possiblity of getting 24 Primals (which I have done
once) is possible. Two, the have 3,200 to 3,300 HP; so rogues and mages,
this place is paradise, you can one shot or two shot most of the mobs.
Three, like I said no competition.

    To sum it up:
No matter what your gear is, you can do these mobs; I am a restoration
Shaman, and can still down these guys pretty quickly, so whoever said
healers can't farm, are just dead wrong

    Primal Mana:
    Erratic Sentry

    Average Drop Rate:
    30-60%

    Average Motes per Minute:
    0-6
(Isle of Quel'Danas is really crowded, this depends how many you can kill, and if you
don't get ganked; they typically drop more than one)

    Average Motes/Primal Per Hour:
50-100 Motes or 5-10 (Maybe even more) Primals

    Average Price on AH:
    13-30g

    Why these guys?:
Read what I posted, you will see; you can find these guys north of the Shattered Sun
Staging Area, be careful for Horde (or Alliance), they want these for quests and will
kill you; even though this a is a threat, they die quickly, and have an excellent drop
rate, making most other places a bad spot, though if you can't get things here, go to
Netherstorm and farm Mana Wraiths or Phase Hunters, they provide adequate drops.

    Times to farm these areas:
Reducing competition is key; I typically farm at these times (PST):

    8:30 AM PST (10:30 ST)

    11:30 AM PST (1:30 ST)

    12:45 PM PST (2:45 ST)

    5:30 PM PST (7:30 ST)

    8:30 PM PST (10:30 ST)

    10:45 PM PST (12:45 ST)

    11:30 PM PST (1:30 ST)

*Tip: Don't farm at least and hour before or and hour after average server raiding time.
People like to farm then, on my servers it's:

    8:30 ST (6:30 PST)

    12:00 ST (10:00 PST)

    You can obviously adjust this to your time, and your server, remember, the logner you farm;
the more you make! Have fun!

Nice post. These are great spots. The eels are fine, but for non-aoe it doesn't seem all that great. The best would be for the primal fire. Hehe.
