[Rogue Trick] Getting the opener on stealthed targets in arena

    Hey guys.

My first small guide here on the site so be gentle :-) Hope this isn't a repost.

This little "trick" may not be the most evolutionary trick in the history and probably known to a lot, however, my partner and I use a lot in arena. (2k+ rating )

This will usually work best with a rogue/rogue combo and only in 2v2.
As you might know the "stealth detection" gems have been changed so that they no longer leave a dot, but instead gives you like 5% more dmg taken.

This can be used as an advantage vs lets say: Druid/Warrior team (lots of them out there)

    The trick itself:

    1. Position yourself right next to the gem(s) a few seconds before they are gonna spawn

    2. Grab a gem (grab 1 each if 2 rogues) and then immediatly vanish.

Make sure to sap any members of the opposing team that is also rushing for the gem a few seconds before though so he doesnt get it before you.

This will leave you in stealth (improved stealth for 10 sec too) and have awesome stealth detection too.

Now you have plenty of time to find the druid/rogue, whatever, and get that golden opener that often wins you the matches. The key to this trick is to stay low profile until the gems appear and dont get spotted.

Or if you are a nightelf, you stand where it spawns, shadowmeld, and then it will break your shadowmeld and you can stealth right away, been using it ever since it came out

you also can blind them, also a great way to capture something in AV/AB or EOTS.
Just jump away from them and jump back to flag so they are some meters behind you then blind them 10 sec. And capturing flag/get flag is like 12 - 11 seconds. Mostly it works.
Because then they need to walk a while to hit you, think it just works for melee classes.

I cant see how this could have a high success rate at all.
There is a long path between the gems and any place to kite except for blade's edge arena and the changes of the opponent to charge you, dot you, whatever is huge.
The opposing team is almost always going for the gem themselves, so they will be pretty close to you aswell.

edit: Plus, you dont really want to waste those 5-6 seconds of kiting. The stealth detection buff doesnt last forever.
