Change Your Characters name

Tired of your toons name? have you developed a bad rep on ur server? well then this is for you, all you need to do is delete your toon, create a new toon with the same name on a friends account, log back into your account put in a gm ticket and say something along the lines of" was angry at the game and got pissed off and deleted my toon and now i want it back" they will tell you yes we can restore it but someone has taken that name, you will be required to change it. just note that if youve got a habit of losing items and getting them restored you may get rejected but only if youve done it impulsivly... this works 100% ive renamed a couple of my toons for various reasons and works every time

It works if you dont believe me and wanna test try on one of ur alts, but then when u delete ur main straight after they may get a bit suspsious(spelling?)

To add to the post -

Make sure the alt you make on your friend's account is at least level 2. Level 1 or under (i.e. never logged in), and the GM will change the level 1 name and restore yours with the same name.

Also, if you get a picky GM, they will look at the time you deleted, and the time the new one was created, and if they are nearly identical, they may not give you the name change. Best to delete and let a little time pass.

I tried this... didn't work, my toon was called Yoderin and they restored it to Yoderinn >.> the other char was level 4.

not very risky at all.. the worst that happens is you use up 1/6 restores.

Yes, this works, but- (I tried on several of my dead characters (ranging from level 10-35) & used a trial account instead of a friends), GMs only seem to do it once per server.
