I'm a 70 hunter and tried this with a lowbie hunter. He left the party, multi-shotted the mobs, I killed the mobs and he came back in the party but still got really low xp. Any ideas? This was in Azeroth.

It isnt nerfed, did it 5minutes ago in bloodfurnace.

Boosted a 62rogue. 1800xp per mob

only works in outland instance's.

It's definitly not working in bloodfurnace.

lvl 58 priest + lvl 70 rogue.

i tag the mobs with the priest out of the party and kill them with the rogue,
190 xp so far :/

could it be possible, that its only working with mobs green for the high lvl char?

the mobs have to be green to the level 70 thats killing. its the same thing that happens outside of an instance. If a lvl 70 helps a lvl 1 kill a mob the lvl 1 gets 2-3 exp. even out of party.

But if a lvl 5 helps a Lvl 1 kill a mob the lvl 1 will get the full experience because the mob was green. the reason it works w/ the pally and consecrate is because the pally is partied w/ the lowbie getting lvled and before the mobs die the pally zones out + the pally is doing dmg so his party is getting exp for dmg considering the killing blows are going to the mage.
