[2.4 error] Fix Error 131.

This is to fix Error 131, Files corrupt when trying to log in.

Go into your World of Warcraft folder, find the folder "Data". There is a file called patch.MPQ. If it is about ~700-800mb, you gotta change it. To do so:

Delete current patch.MPQ.
Run repair tool and click "yes" when promted to revert to older version.
Install full 2.4 patch. (1,1gb)

i was an idiot, didn't delete the files, have the updater going right now

'tis a good idea, i was thinking along these lines but in my panic i tend to overreact and not think things through


but of course, if this works, your a godsend

lol i got error 1hundred and sumthin. not 131 tho. if u have model edits in ur data files... take them out took me 4 ever to figure that out cuz im a newb to model editing
