I think the price got nerfed in TBC but not sure. I remember i used to do this but then stopped because i make hardly any money anymore.

unholy shaman your close it did get nerfed kinda in a way

pre-tbc it was only horde that could open them up from a reapeatable quest but now alliance can swim over there and if they don't aggro the guards they can loot the traps

Alliance could open them pre-TBC. The thing is that now you can get a better one from a quest in outland.

Ya, I sold a few of these for 29g each. But now adays they're 2g. on my server (The Scryers)

And yeah,there can be from 20 up to 100g, it depends on the server.
Now today i look,there was one on the AH,they had it for 50g,then 20min later,it was sold.

Not to flame at at all this guide is relly nice. But i wonder what retards paying 30-100 G for a +20 fishing pole then you can quest for a +25 at lvl 50.
And also at lvl 60 you cna quest for a +35 fishingpole. But aslong people are stupid i think it will work
