Halaa guide

Hello there MMowned. I haven't really made much of an effort recently to help the community, so I wrote this little guide.

What the guide includes: Information everyone needs to know about Halaa, and Rewards.

The Basics

- Halaa is a town in the middle of Nagrand.


- Halaa may be controlled by one faction at a time.
- Factions may fight to control Halaa.
- You must be PvPed to take Halaa.
- All guards must be eliminated to start capturing Halaa, as well as having no enemy faction in the area.
- Once you capture Halaa, your factions guards will spawn.

Your Enemy

- Your enemy will be one of the following.
1. A guard
Alliance Halaani Guard - NPCs - World of Warcraft

Horde Halaani Guard - NPCs - World of Warcraft

2. Another player from the opposite faction.


Rewards

At Halaa you may obtain many rewards. Although, you must have required items to get the rewards.

For most items you may need:

Halaa Battle Token or a Halaa Research Token

The Battle Tokens may
obtained by killing an
enemy player.


The Research Tokens may
be obtained by passing in 20
Oshu'gun Crystal Powder Sample.

Oshu'gun Crystal Powder Sample's may be obtained from basically any mob in Nagrand. There are two versions. One for the Horde and one for the Alliance. You pass them in to the quest giver in Halaa.

Now, many rewards can be obtained using all these items.

On a side note, it does not stack with food buffs.

Offensive

- Bombing is how you initially will kill the guards.
- To bomb you must first get a Wyvern Camp.
- Capture any of the 4 Wyvern camps that are near one of the 4 bridges leading out of Halaa.
- Once you capture the Wyvern post, click it to start the bombing run.
- You will get Dark Iron Bombx10 and start flying off on a Wyvern.
- While flying, click on the bombs, and drop them on the guards, or players in the Halaa location.
- Once all the guards are dead, storm into Halaa and stand around the flag.
- Make sure you kill all the resistance of the other faction.
- Once you take Halaa your guards will spawn and you will hold Halaa.

Defensive

- To defend Halaa you must make sure that the enemy doesn't control any Wyvern camps.
- Kill all enemy players and keep the Wyvern Camps destroyed.
- To destroy a Wyvern camp, simply go up to it, and click it.
- Make sure when all the guards die to kill all the players that enter the Halaa area.

Tricks

- If your on a Wyvern and flying back to the Wyvern camp and you see the enemy there, and you don't want to die, log out. It is an instant logout, so you can just wait a few minutes until they've left and come back on.
- Not going to go into detail here, but you can sell the Halaa Battle Tokens. Go on opposite faction, and yell in trade "selling Halaa marks, (whatever money for whatever amount of tokens) Wait until you get some whispers, have them all party up, go onto your main that's on the OPPOSITE faction than the one you just tried to sell marks on, and let them repeatedly kill you until everyone gets their marks.
Some suggestions would be:
-Take all your gear and put in your bank.
-Fight at the Wyvern camps for guards don't interfere.
-Control Halaa while you're getting killed (this makes the walk backs faster!)
-Make sure you collect the money BEFORE you let them start killing you, as they may scam you.
- Have a group for Halaa as there is usually more than one person attacking or defending. In my experience raiding Halaa I have seen 20-40 man raids plenty of times.
- There are probably more tricks but I do not know them. Please if you know any share them!

Crap I never even noticed that, I tried to space it out for that they were next to each other =/ didn't work I guess, and I didn't catch that. I didn't copy paste this off a site as I had said. Thanks for pointing that out. Honestly, I never realized that and I believed it was possible to space it like that.

To be honest i`m impressed by the work put into this guide, on the other hand this is what i consider common knowledge:P And for those who have yet to experince Halaa the guide could easily have been cut down to two or three sentences. See below:

Halaa, pvp conquerable town in Nagrand. Killing opposite factions gives battle tokens which can be used as currency with the Halaa vendors. Use "taxi services" just outside town to take out guards first.


On the other hand, the Halaa vendor item listings was ok
