Outlands Botting Fishing Spots for Money

Hello all, I looked around and saw a few things here and there about fishing spots, but these were usually in Azeroth, so I compiled a guide of all my favorite fishing spots, that I usually sit and bot at. So here it is, enjoy.

    Things you will need:
    Fishing skill of 375
Fishing Pole with +25 or greater fishing
Fishing lures (Bright baubles or Aquadynamic Fish Attractors)
Bot that can fish and re-lure your pole
Flying mount (not for all places)
Lootfilter Addon (can be found here - Loot Filter | World of Warcraft Addons | Curse)

First off, lets get our Lootfilter set up. When in game type /lf and the window should pop up. After this go to the Name tab.

Put these in the Items you want to DELETE box:

    Barbed Gill Trout
    Felblood Snapper

Put this in the Items you want to KEEP box:

    Golden Darters
    Figluster's Mudfish
    Icefin Bluefish
    Crescent-Tail Skullfish
    Zangarian Sporefish
    Huge Spotted Feltail
Goldenscale Vendorfish (This sells for 6g so you might as well keep it, you usually don't get these anyways.)
    Spotted Feltail

Now that that's done, lets look at what fish were are going for:

    Golden Darters
    Figluster's Mudfish
    Icefin Bluefish
    Crescent-Tail Skullfish
    Zangarian Sporefish
    Huge Spotted Feltail
    Enormous Barbed Gill Trout

Why we are fishing these, this is what they turn into once cooked:

Golden Darters - Golden Fish Sticks - Items - World of Warcraft - Healer Food
Figluster's Mudfish - Grilled Mudfish - Items - World of Warcraft - Rogue and Hunter food
Icefin Bluefish - Poached Bluefish - Items - World of Warcraft - Caster Food
Crescent-Tail Skullfish - Skullfish Soup - Items - World of Warcraft - Caster Food
Zangarian Sporefish - Blackened Sporefish - Items - World of Warcraft - Mana regen food
Huge Spotted Feltail - Fisherman's Feast - Spells - World of Warcraft - Stam food
Spotted Feltail - Feltail Delight - Spell - World of Warcraft - Stam Food
Enormous Barbed Gill Trout - Hot Buttered Trout - Spell - World of Warcraft - To help level cooking.

These are the recipes that turn these fish into those foods:

Golden Darter - Recipe: Golden Fish Sticks - Items - World of Warcraft
Figluster's Mudfish - Recipe: Grilled Mudfish - Items - World of Warcraft
Icefin Bluefish - Recipe: Poached Bluefish - Items - World of Warcraft
Crescent-Tail Skullfish - Recipe: Skullfish Soup - Items - World of Warcraft
Zangarian Sporefish - Recipe: Blackened Sporefish - Items - World of Warcraft
Huge Spotted Feltail - Kylene - NPCs - World of Warcraft
Spotted Fetail - Recipe: Feltail Delight - Item - World of Warcraft
Enormous Barbed Gill Trout - Kylene - NPC - World of Warcraft

Now we get to the good part, where are we going to get these fish:

    Golden Darters -Terrokar Forrest
    Figlusters Mudfish - Nagrand
    Icefin Bluefish - Nagrand
Crescent-Tail Skullfish - Deadwind Pass (Eastern Kingdoms)
    Zangarian Sporefish - Zangarmarsh
Huge Spotted Feltail - All of these locations
Spotted Feltail - Zangarmarsh and Terrokar Forrest
Enormous Barbed Gill Trout - Zangarmarsh, Terrokar Forrest, and Nagrand

Level of fishing needed to catch fish in Outlands:

Base Fishing Skill Required for each Zone:

305 - Zangarmarsh east (Umbrafen Lake, The Lagoon).
355 - Terrokar Forrest (Silmyr Lake, water near Tuurem), Zangarmarsh west (Marshlight Lake, Sporewind Lake, Serpent Lake).
380 - Nagrand (including Halaa and the Elemental Plateau), Netherstorm (Eco-Dome Midrealm).
395 - Nagrand (Lake Sunspring and Skysong Lake).
405 - Terrokar Forest (Blackwind Lake, Lake Ere'Noru and Lake Jorune).

Now this is where my secret fish botting spots are:

Golden Darters: Location in Terrokar Forrest - (Right next to Stonebreaker Hold) - Flying Mount Needed

    Here is the fishing spot:

Note: If you are using a bot that has a log out after being followed for a certain amount of time, such as glider, set it to a really long time such as 99999 or something, this spot is located near the Horde flight path at Stonebreaker so people can be afk there sometimes.

    Another Fishing spot in Terrokar:

Crescent-Tail Skullfish - Located in Deadwind Pass - This is in Eastern Kingdoms - Flying mount is not needed.

    Here is the fishing spot:

Note: Lightning eels also drop here which are used in the Stormchops recipe - Recipe: Stormchops - Items - World of Warcraft

Zangarian Sporefish - Located in Zangarmarsh - Flying mount is not needed

    Here is the fishing spot

Note: There is a Bog Walker dude that walks near this spot, but if you're 70 you shouldn't aggro this guy, so if you want to be sure, just wait until he pats near and if he doesn't aggro you, you are set.

Also there is a fine border between here and Nagrand, so make sure you are on the Zangarmarsh side.

Figlusters Mudfish and Icefin Bluefish - Location in Nagrand (19,40) - Flying Mount is needed to get to this spot, but there is a spot below that does not need one.

Here is the main spot :

Here is the spot below, just at the base of that waterall

    Here is the whole spot:

    **Update**
I've found two new spots for Nagrand they can be found here:

    Spot 1 -

    Spot 2 -

**BONUS** - If you're a skinner and don't already know of this spot, it is a gold mine. This spot has a ton of neutral Twilight Serpents which drop Cobra Scales. I'm going to include a private glider profile that grinds these things. I can run this all night on my hunter and usually get 2-3 stacks of Cobra Scales, on my server 1 scale goes for ~15g, so this is mad money. So mix this in with fishing and you should be rich in no time. A fair amount of greens drops here too.

The spot to the right of the waterfall on that ledge.

Note: I usually put Oshu'gun Powder on my delete list because it could stack up and then you wouldn't be able to skin the cobras rendering this profile useless.

    Enjoy the money!

I use Glider, with a standard fishing profile, you can set it to auto-lure it for you, and how often.

Nope on a PVP server, I've never died due to fishing in these spots, the only one I can see dying from is the one at the top of the waterfall in Nagrand, hence posting the spot at the bottom of the waterfall.

+rep for teh guide, but Huge Spotted Feltail is a fish that I would suggest keeping in your KEEP box. One of these is essentially the same as 6 Furious Crawdad. +30 stamina food typically sells very well on my server.

It's not outside Kara, same zone, but all the way to the north, if you go from kara and follow it all the way to the north on the path, right before the bridge there is a path that goes down to that spot.
