    No Malediction or Death's Embrace? I would pick those up, personally.

    Based on Damage per cast time, I'd suggest the following:
    Shadowbolt > Haunt > UA > Immolate > CoA > Corruption > Siphon Life

    You actually want to cast Shadowbolt a bit before you would be casting corruption now, so the shadow bolt actually lands on the boss around the same time that you would otherwise just then be putting up a dot

    446, without any sort of talent/raid buff/etc.

    Ah, I figured you meant for raiding. Heroics, no, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

    You should look into the SL FG spec. It's incredibly powerful after level 72, every thing after that is just extra flavor(talent point wise).

    If ur into affliction try

    WorldofWarcraft.com -> Info -> Classes -> Warlock -> Talent Calculator
    I used that in maly25 and its really nice ur usually above everyone else in dps if u get all ur dots refreshed before vortex

    But a better DPS output would be

    WorldofWarcraft.com -> Info -> Classes -> Warlock -> Talent Calculator

    at the moment, the best affliction DPS spec from math is this

    Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

    If your hit capped and do not need suppression you can put those points into molten core in the destro tree.

    Now for rotation, for myself this has always worked out for me when playing affliction:
    Shadow Bolt > Haunt > UA > immolate > curse of agaony > corruption > siphon life

    The reason for casting sbolt and haunt first is to get shadow embrace going and then spam haunt on cooldown to keep it up 100% of the time. When the boss gets below 35% HP, spam drain soul instead of shadow bolt and refresh your dots as needed (you can drop immolate from the rotation at 25%). I did this when i played affliction and it worked out very well.

    For pvp I don't see how you go without soul link. Personally in my own opinion, any warlock PVPing wtihout soul link is just plain stupid. Warlocks at the moment die insanely fast, and no soul link just makes it even worse. I have roughly 500 resilience (I know its not much but it is enough to deal with in BG's and maybe starter for arenas) and mages themselves with imp counter spell can easily kill me with 1 counterspell. Of course I try to save my spell lock for that moment to give me the chance to turn the tables, but with arcane barrage being a 3 second CD (correct me if I am wrong on that), it crits insanley hard for an instant cast. Arcane missles when they get that one proc to make missles like 3x as fast and they just blow you away.

    From my own experience (my pvp experience at the moment is very limited, none of my friends really care to arena, so I pretty much do WG/BG's) Shadow priests are my easiest target to kill, shadow ward, spell lock when they cast mindflay or mind blast and you can ussually keep them feared or controled.

    Here are a couple builds i like for PVP if anyone was interested
    Affliction: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
    Reasoning: I like soul link as i stated before, you get your 1 point for your felhunter to keep his mana up, you get shadow embrace to do more damage to your target after haunt is applied (also another debuff for paladins/priests to dispel). It also has the talents that make your dots tick pretty hard. Not bursty but if you run 2v2 with a healer, it works great. Also a ton of fun for BG's.

    Destruction: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
    Reasoning: Playing destruction in BG's has always been a favorite of mine. So much burst and makes handling melee a bit easier. I also put points into imp succy because seducing is a major part of being destro, and that talent helps a ton. You can put those 3 points elsewhere if you want, but i find them best suited there. This also works out great if you run 2v2 with another DPS. You soul link, so your just as squishy as an affliction lock, you casts have a chance to heal you (not as good as siphon life, but it works out), and if you have a good comp, you can get your burst rotations off. Shadowfury is also awesome for controling melee, its always fun to fear them and have em trinket and get shadowfuried right after. Or they get shadow furied and then trinket that to get thrown into a fear.

    Sorry for my wall of text :P, just trying to be helpful ^_^

    Unbalanced hit cap talents aren't really too good (zero supression and 3/3 Cataclysm)

    Try to get the same amount in each one untill Suppression is changed ot affect all spells (next patch)

    The hit cap is 17% for skull bosses .. easier to just use % than hit rating number

    When trying to get to 17%... first factor in if a Shadow priest or moonkin with improved farie fire will be in raid.. if so thats 3% hit covered .. the , if youre alliance if Draenei in your group... if so another 1%... Then facor in YOUR talents (1% hit covered for each point in BOTH Supression and Catyclysm)

    SO... say youre Horde. NO Draenei.. but you got a Shadow Preist in your Raid
    And you got 2/3 supression and 2/3 catyclysm..

    You got 5% hit covered.. you need 12% hit form your gear.. Hovering over your hit rating will tell you the percentage you got.

    No +hit talents and Shadow Priest, you need 14% hit form gear... etc.
