You could actually try using Safety Deposit Box. You can set a percentage of gold you pick up from corpses, mail (Including AH) and quest rewards to go into a "deposit box" that hides it from your bag. You can retrieve the gold at any time using the extremely simple UI. Deposit Box - Inventory/Item - World of Warcraft Mods, Addons, and More! Let me know if you like it. It hasn't been updated since the patch, however it still works just fine for me.
