    my rogue spec @ 60

    my spec

I used to be all combat w/ the basics in assassination, but when i hit 60 i decided to respec subt/combat and am gonna build into subt all the rest of the way into subt for the shs, then go pvp till i get my welfares and start my way up in the pvp realm. i'm always burnin thru my evasion and all other cd's cuz i figure, why have them if you're not using them all the time, right? so i spent talents in the reducing cd's on all the good ones i'm basic slow(ish) sword (2.6sec) in main w/ a regular drop dagger (1.7sec) offhand. i'm thinkin of switching to both fast daggers sticking deadly poisons on both (for the proc stacking) (might as well w/ garrote and rupture goin, keep those dots ticking!)

whatcha think? am i thinking too many dots for one rogue to handle? or am i thinking in the right direction?

Well, the most competitive pvp builds are:

    20/0/41 Shadowstep
    41/20 Combat Mutilate
    49/0/12 Sub Mutilate
    20/41 Combat Maces
    0/30/31 Hemo/AR/Prep

There's room for some flexibility within all of these, of course. Daggers are terrible for PvP unless you're using a mutilate build. Which, for BGs, isn't that great. For BG grinding, I'd recommend either HARP or Shadowstep. Harp loses a lot of its power without maces, though, so consider picking those up. Shadowstep has the advantage of not needing a weapon spec.

In general, keep a slow weapon in your MH, for heavy hitting specials, and a fast offhand for poison application and low energy shivs.

For poisons, you'll want to use Crippling offhand, so that your target stays in melee range. I use Wound for my Main Hand to prevent healing, but for BGs, Deadly can work fine as well. Take your pick.
