Legality of Fake Mailers

Recently I did the scam where you sell an account for in game gold, transfer it, yadda yadda. But you use a fake mail from blizzard.com to make it look legit. Is this illegal? One guy was saying he was going to show this email to blizzard to let them know how people are scamming but I'm guessing this could be some form of impersonation which I should've really thought about before I did this.

I used
SOOM.cz - Fake Mailer
to send an email from [email protected] so if they get a copy of this, are they able to pin it on me, or alert my ISP or something? Kinda sketchy.
