I just sold my account yesterday and the guy recalled the money.

Last night I created a 2nd paypal account to transfer the funds over incase he did this. Now the first paypal account is -150$ though.

Paypal says my Response deadline: Nov. 13, 2008. Any advice on how to handle this besides recalling account. How hard will paypal try to pursue me for the -150$?

edit: it seems they reversed transaction on 2nd account and that balence is now 0$. So im -150$ on one account and 0$ on 2nd, how is that possible?

Well duh. You think that just because you transfer the money to a new account, they won't be able to track it?

They will hunt you down for it. Just put $150 in the first account and you're all good.

As far as pursuing you for the funds goes they will try very hard.

They sent a collection agency (phone calls, etc) after me for a mere $15.32 a while back....

Moral of the story is never use your real info when you have a feeling things may go poorly.

Well, they can definitely track your IP. If you really ignore them, they may contact your ISP, yes. It's possible that they can get all of your info just from your IP; they have investigators just for this sort of thing. Chances are, they won't even need to talk to your ISP...their IP is really all they need from you.

They can, but chances are they won't.

Thanks for the help. Is there any chance of me winning claim if I call paypal and tell them it was a virtual item?

It also says the money is being "held" while under investigation. Is this why there is no money in either account?
