[Possible?] Gold Farmers sharing your Phone Number

Hi, I was wondering.

Once you scam some cash, I've wanted to spend it on WOW Gold, Game Keys, etc... Anyways I was wondering if I give the Gold Seller my phone number, can PayPal trace my payment to the Gold Selling Site and get my phone number then track me from there?

I've always wondered upon the thought of this, and have never spent my scammed cash on WOW Gold or CD / Time Keys.

You could always say your phone was stolen, if they did.
