I need help! legal problems? possibly

heres the story...

so i was playing on my main one day and a guildie says 'anyone wana buy my acount' so i was like ok. so i gave him my aim SN cause i thought i was going to buy it legit..turns out i end up scamming him...he knows my phone number..i was behind tor the whole time..

heres a SS of his threat(hes 13 so his spelling is off):

so what could happen to me

Scamming wow account ISN'T illegal! All that can happen is the account banned and locked. WoW Accounts have nothing to do with crime.

As long as its JUST the WoW account, I doubt anything would be criminal. However, if you start getting into scamming for real money, then you are doing something criminal -- fraud.

OP -- If the kid is just 13, there is no way in hell the FBI is going to listen to his squeaky voice complaining about a WoW account. You should be fine.

I wouldn't entitle scamming money fraud. They cant do much, wow has a disclaimer to NOT sell or trade your account. Play it to your advantage. In that terms they are basically giving the money on there free will.

im like 'they dont care'
he then says 'yea they do its considered fraud'
me: 'how is it considered fraud when no money was ever involved'
him: 'blah blah its fraud,,,pay me or i call the cops to get a warrant for your arrest'

if the cops DO want to find me and/or arrest me what kind of proof do they have agaisnt me...

We've told you numerous times that nothing is going to happen.

If he actually calls the police, how could he get a warrant for your arrest? Citizens don't have that power in the slightest.

Yeah theres nothing he can do, especially considering that selling/buying/trading accounts is illegal in blizzard's eyes. Like someone stated earlier the worst that can happen is the account gets closed.
