So I've been trying to scam an account for a month now using various methods (primarily a phishing site which sucks and the posing as a company thing) With no success whatsoever. One of the failures I believe for the phishing site is that I don't have a good domain name. I want something with WoW in it with beta also and .com at the end but can't grab a domain name (13, no paypal parents wont let me use credit). For the company thing I don't know why I fail. I'll post a log right now.

In that case, it just appeared that the person wasn't interested in selling to a company.
Some people are. Some people aren't.
A lot of MD users don't like dealing with Chinese people.
Keep in mind that some people are unscammable. No matter what scam you use, they simply will not fall for it.
The only thing that'll actually trick someone who's smart is a recall scam. As in, recalling the account after a week or so.

here you can im me on aim enmasse187 ill help you
Thanks for all the help and advice. I've been swamped in work (Science Fair, Oritorical Contest, Religion Fair, Math Bee, and Tennis Baseball and Football) so haven't had a chance to respond. I've been trying to get an account for the past 2 months and have constantly failed, whether or not the person was unscammable. I will be talking to everyone on AIM and MSN today.
Well ya as the WOW lawyer said some people aren't scammable and second you need to put some social skills in there. Alot of people fall for the nice guy.
Some people simply won't even trade with people who have few posts/no rep or aren't TWV.
And some will be incredibly suspicious of these people and require that they do everything first, which kind of makes scamming hard.
But most of all...anyone who really knows the basics of scamming can spot when they're being scammed. You cannot really scam someone who's actually intelligent and has some knowledge of trading, unless you have something to back you up, like lots of positive feedback or TWV or something similar.
If you've just got a MD account with 19 posts and no feedback or ratings, you've really got nothing that says you're legit. And therefore, any time you try and do any sort of trick, the person will be on their guard.
Unless they're stupid.
Moral of this lesson? Actually, it's one of the most important parts of scamming.
Look for stupid people who are new to trading.
Simple to spot. If they have very few MD posts, and their grammar is bad, then there's an 80% chance it'll be an easy scam.
