Parental controls :(

oki i got a pretty nice paladin the other night and all details were mine.. so i went to log onto wow and parental controls were on...i didnt take much notice thinking it would just be for the night.. and then i go to log on in the morning and they are on.. i look on the site and they are on ALL THE TIME!!! i dont know what to do? is there anyway i can take this controls off... please help me thanks

I don't know much about this parental thingie as I've never encountered it myself, it's not to common on EU in my experience. I'm affraid it's pretty hard to get rid of it tho. What you can do I guess is if you have The full name and all that information call Blizzard and get rid of it, not sure tho.

Yeah I guess the problem is that they'll think you're under 18 or what ever it is and ask to speak with your parents or something like that, not quite sure.

Sorry, cant help you there, what you can do is transfer hte character to a newmade account to be able to play it.

I recently started scamming account using Palumir's method, In that method you pretend you are blizzard and tell the victim it cannot change password on the account while it is beeing investigated. I find that its quite useful to set up parental control all red to prevent them from logging in, if you are logged in when you enable it you will still be able to play though. Also useful if you cannot call Blizzard (to get the email changed) until the next day.

Sorry for going a bit offtopic, I dont think there's any way to get rid of it without knowing the password.

Uh, to change parental controls I think all you have to have is the email, and the SQA. Then you log into the parental control thing and change them. If you traded for an account without a SQA, then you're a moron.

if you dont know what the parental password is, ALWAYS try putting in the

OO's regular password in OR his secret password, it works fine, but if it

doesnt

work, then just trade the account with another guy in Markeedragon hoping

he doesnt check parental password lol

i used to have this problem with my parents to but if your dad (or whoever has the password reset email) uses MSN outlook or other email program like it just click forgot password get onto the reset email address and Blizzard should have emailed a a new random password to you you can then cchange the password to your liking. also if parents regurlarly check the Parental settings just set it to inactive and it is harder for them to notice

Try calling blizzard explaining to them that you were playing with your friend and he put parental control on your account for joke and now he doesn't remember the password or simply make something up your own.
