Make gold easily on a new server! Totally Un-Bannable

Hi!

Have you ever started playing on a new server and not had the gold to get your character any decent gear? well...Try this on for size, It's worked for me countless times and is a great scam.

Start off my farming maybe 10-12 stacks of linen cloth, Put 5 of the linen cloth up for auction at lets say...30s (cheaper than AH prices)...but make the sixth one 3g and 30s. Then make the rest of the stacks 30's...People who speed buy the linen cloth in bulk will accidentally buy the stack for 3g. This can be performed with other 'bought in bulk' items.

The best part about the scam is that you can't get banned!

Of course it doesn't always work or it might take a while to rake in the gold but after time it will pay off especially since you can go and quest while you wait for someone to fall prey to the scam!

I've seen people bitching about omg some noob put a stack of silk up for 50g i thought it was 50s and i bought it!!!1 made me lol. but anyways im having trouble on my hunter (Ysondre, US, Horde) tried the Spectral scam.. no luck.. this might work.. I have a Blood Ring and Rakzur club on the AH but they wont sell and the newbs are flogging those 28 leather helms of the monkey for 80g.. im not a twink! i want it for lvling! *cry*

dumb scam is dumb, this just makes you money by selling the stacks, i doubt the last one would sell. When you hit buyout a window comes up "Do you want to buy Linen Cloth for: 3g 0s 0c" then your like thats stupid *cancel* so the chances of this working are slim to none. Then you have to repost the auction causeing you to waste more money on the deposit.
