Be VERY CAREFULL with the GUILDBANK SCAM!

Be VERY CAREFULL with the GUILDBANK SCAM!
Hello, i had a level 70 hunter... 3/5 t6 i was poor , and my guild was rich...
so i used the guildbank scam...... for a few weeks they didnt had a cleu who did it...
but then they tracked me ip; How did they do that? THe awnser:
THe brother of an Guild Officer whas a GM, he compared the IP from my scammed char , with the IP of everyone in the guild...You can guess 3 times who's ip was similars; ME!
I don't use a IP tracker for ingame scams, because how large is the chance that the brother of a guild officer is a gm? less than 0.01%?
I have a problem now, because i dont have a visa or mastercard.....
All my rep on the server is ruiind...
Lucky my server is High populated, so i'll hope for a free character transfer soon.
The 5k gold ive earned with this wasn't word all the trouble it caused me...
So DO NOT use the gbank scam, or atleast be very carefull with it.

    Regards from a pawned hunter.

Be VERY CAREFULL with the GUILDBANK SCAM!

If he would say his brother was a gm, i normmaly wouldnt believe him, because it sounds like bullshit...
but i have to believe him, because i am using a scam and a normal account... and they compared the IP....
I can't namechange or server transfer because i dont have a visa or a mastercard ^^
otherwise it wouldn't be such a big problem

OH YES, its obvious that its the hunter! no.

Sorry to hear that this went wrong though, just change server, if you really do got 3/5 t6 then it should be no problem getting a new guild.

So, he tracked your IP-ingame? That is not possible without a sniffer. So basically you can report him for sniffing and he'll get banned.

And compare your IP? Your external IP changes dramatically fast over "period" you mentioned had come before they had any clue. So he didn't IP track you for sure.

    A. Your guild must be oblivious to logs and such and alts in the guild itself with promotions and withdrawals.

    B. GMs cant get your IP

    C. A GM can not operate on a server where they know/are in touch with other normal players, they have logs of it and you get transfered servers.

    D. If it DID happen, after all of those facts, wouldn't the GM just have taken away what you had scammed?
