as great as that sounds,it would never work.once they realize that you scammed them they will probably report you, your alt,and they would also see your mains name on the letter.even if they dont report you they will spam trade channel with your alts name and your mains name too.good idea, but it will never work

    1. very hard to report the alt because of special chars
    2. and so what if they spam with ur alts name, you are gonna delete it anyways.
    3. you can always make 2 alts and send letters back and forth between them.

lol i love it how you guys think that deleting the character will vanish his log like he was never created.

    1) The person will report your main.
    2) Blizzard will track your alt to your main.
    3) Enjoy your 3 day ban

ok, then don't send the letter from your main. make an alt to send from and delete that alt before u check the mail so the letter says frm unknown.

Sounds like the Turtle Mount Scam, and it doesnt work, they can go back and check the trade(s) that the people have made, then they slap you with a 3-day ban. GG won't ever work unless the person doesnt report you

How is this much different from the Turtle Mount Scam? lol

Anyways, I don't think this would really work, you'd get pwnt right off the bat.

    QFT.

you never ever ever scam with your main account. thats rule #1 in the scam world. you dont add your main character to your friendslist /who him or anything. make a new wow account and scam with it

    Alright,

but still, it remains that this is THE SAME THING as the Turtle Mount Scam, just a different "Code" for sail.

    Re: Murloc suit scam

First of all id like to state a couple of flaws with your scam...

    1. Not a lot of people would like to risk their main accounts for some gold
    2. Trial accounts cannot /2 or /1 or even yell!
    3. If you want to do this without getting your other account banned, you gotta get a new wow code...
    4. Not all people are this stupid..
    5. Even if you did go through the trouble of getting a new wow acct key you still have a high chance of getting banned....... and yes blizzard can trace your main acct...
    6. This could be your final warning and result in account closure...

so only idiots would fall for this sounds like turtle scam and obviously if it does work only noobs would fall for it

    Ive made my point

    Re: Murloc suit scam

Trading these coupons in-game is against the TOS because the codes are "Real-Life Materials". Just let them know that you scamming them is worse than you buying the code. Tell them that Scamming is a 3-Day, but buying real-life property is a perma-ban let them make their decision.

    Re: Murloc suit scam

ok the person can easily report u for this by simply shift clicking ur name into chat and copying it and its almost identical to turtle mount scam except its more up to date since hte murloc suit was jsut realized but i got one of my accounts banned with turtle mount scam so if u try this do it with a diff account and launder the money through AH to ur main account DO NOT MAIL IT to ur main account cause blizz will track that and then watch that account and see ur sending other scaming money to it and...wow permaban ftw...gg
