Scam chinese farmer. I got 2kg easy!

This is not a bannable scam, cause noone will report you. The case of that I will say later in this thread. I don't garantee it, but for sure he will not do it!

Ok, the scam:

You do /who stratholme.. Then there will munch upp a bif list of Mages that AOE farm for gold, all are almost 100% sure to be a chinese farmer.

What I did, I was asking nicely when i was on lvl say around 55-58 to join they'r party for 40g for 1 hour, I and I says to I will not have any loot, only XP casue in there you lvl fast as hell. Rly! Anyway, you will have a chance that some reply you and say 60g 1 hour, you say ofc yes to that. You trade him the gold and now we start the scam.

As you see the most of them are lvl 60 without TBC key, and ofcourse they wil have that key, for sure. Now you start to chat nice with the guy, to earn respect in a way, then you later ask if he needs a TBC key since you have one you don't have use for. He will for sure reply on this and say, yes he will.

If he agrees on your deal, say you sell the key for around 2k of gold, go on a alt char, send a plain leather to your main with the following written:

To: your alt (your name of your alt ofc)

Subject: TBC key

Now in the leather you make upp a TBC key ( The key should have 26 letters in it.. (Example: PYS9GH-EF2X-BNHS7X-YFH6-DEHGA9) In numers it will be:
6letters-4lettes-6Letters-4letters

Now that you have sendt that to your main make a copy of the leather in your bag, go trade the Chinese Farmer the leather.

Make sure to get the money in the trade.

The rest now, IMPORVICE! This worked well for me!

He says maybee that he will try the key before you get the gold, that happend to me, but I said clearly no to this, and I ended upp with 2000gold.
Then ignore him 30 min after the scam =)

He can't report you, for he don't wanne loose his farmer account =)

you build up their trust by giving them your own gold, and then you end up taking theirs and making a large profit.

A good idea in theory. But on my server at least, the goldfarmers don't understand english at all. Asking if you can join them in stratholme would just get nonsense replies like "NI HAO!"

Ok, the scam:

There is no reason why he should be afraid to report you. He is not using a bot if he is farming stratholme by actually playing. Doesn't matter if he is a chinese farmer if he aint botting.

Chinese farmers = allowed
Chinese botters = not allowed.


If he aint botting/never has he WILL report you.

NO i'm not agree with you. Since he said yes ti pay for a TBC key he's in trouble self, casue thats unlegal to. So I doubt he will report you.

Its simple to understand. First, you type in /who Stratholme this will give you a list of people who are currently there. According to Thallia most of the 60 Mages there are farmers. So, you contact one of the farmers and ask them if you can join their group for 60g just for the XP. If they agree you then give them 60g, joining their group, and start getting XP. Try to earn their trust by talking to them. Most of the level 60 Mage farmers don't have a The Burning Crusade Key (TBC) so you ask them if they want one for *amount of gold* if they agree GREAT! Now, here is what you do. Tell the farmer "BRB" log out, create a alt character, and get to a mail box. Once at the mail box make the Subject "The Burning Crusade Key" and in the paragraph write PYS9GH-EF2X-BNHS7X-YFH6-DEHGA9 or just change the numbers/letters around. Now, mail this to your character, log out and delete the alt character. Go back on the character that you are scamming the gold farmer with, get to a mail box, and click on the mail attachment to save a copy of it. Get back to the gold farmer and trade with him. Make sure he gives you the desired amount of gold.

I hope that was better to understand. I just tried translating it as best as I could. English is not my first language so bare with me. I guess you guys will have to read that huge paragraph. Sorry for not dissecting it, but I thought it would be better like it is.

what if you pay the 60G, and he doesnt want a CD key? and you have to be a lower level for this to work, most people here i'd assume have 70's.
