Materials Scam

I posted this a while back on a different forum so I decided to post it here,
Not sure if this is posted yet.

Make sure you have the materials for a fiery enchant and a level 70 for this.

First off say in the Trade Channel in a main city,
/2 Enchanting Mongoose, Your mats plus 10g(or how much you want)!

Now when someone whispers you hopefully they say,
Ok, What are the materials?
If you find someone that knows the materials don't respond to them.

Now when you whisper them back tell them the majority of the materials but then make up a few, for example add in extra void crystals or something extra.

Tell them OK meet me in stormwind or orgrimmar, Once they meet u tell them to put the weapon and gold in there, now enchant their weapon with fiery and hopefully they won't notice, complete the trade and do alt + F4.
Stay offline for a while though.

Now you have materials for mongoose and and some extra gold )

Its ok tho, Im pretty sure you thaught of this on your own

and eh, just tried it and the person said hed report me and get me banned if i didn't give him mongoose, so I lost my fiery mats, and only gained a void crystal (Wich is still a profit xD)

yeah, the enchanting fiery part is for people who don't have their enchanting that high or don't want to use the mats :P

I used to scam 2h +7 wep dmg and give them +3 and theyd never notice xD

Even if the player looking for the enchant isn't bright enough to check Thottbot for the mats, there is a good chance they're going to notice if you try to give them the wrong enchant.

It's a good scam if you just get them to buy extra mats. You keep the extra stuff and sell it for a profit, they get the enchant they wanted, and are none the wiser. And by using this method, your odds of being reported are nil.

If what I just said has already been posted, disregard. I don't peruse the scams section frequently. In any event, I'm not posting this looking for rep. Just wanted to offer some constructive criticism on the scam idea.

bah a big problem is tht alot of pople ask to have the mats linked through the recipe thing, so u cnt get extra mats - and i wouldnt try this with mongoose, probally twink enchants are better - cos u wont feel bad, no1 likes twinks xD
