Scam Gold+Gear 99% Effective

This works better with higher level characters.

First, travel to a major city, and take all of your gear off. Now go around and tell people that your account got hacked, and Blizz said they can't restore your gear for whatever reason. Ask them if they can spare any extra gold or items to help get you back on your feet. I did this four times with my 48 pally ans scored like 200 gold and some greens and a blue for my level.

How does it remove you from their trust? Chances are those people will not remember your name for more than thirty seconds. Besides, you can just hang out for a few days naked or in crappy gear.

I think that it could work quite well , it just depends how you ask .

If you're going to spam the trade channel saying "ZOMG ME GOT HAXXORED PLZ GIMME GEAR" , then chances are that you won't get a thing (well maybe a warning for spamming) , but if you ask nicely and in a mature way , then this scam could work great for anybody and your reputation won't get hurt at all .
