    I. Introduction

I used to be one of those scammers but stopped recently. I'd like to take my time with you guys to tell you about the Risks of Buying/Trading/Selling accounts. Even if you think your safe. Your not.

    II. Risks of Buying/Trading/Selling Accounts

This is a very tricky thing. A scammer could be around the corner at all times. With any of these you could be compromising your account. When i used to trade and lots of people do this we would take the account for a month or two. Let them gear up our noobs then end up recovering it in the long run which is verrrrry common between trading. When Buying/Selling you could risk losing your money. No one wants to ever lose money. You could risk your account being permy banned! All your hard work went to waste. Then what happens if you traded account gets locked?? You going to forge and ID and risk going to Jail? In my oppinion you should never trade. The only sure way you will never get hacked due to a bad Trade/buying/selling is if you level it yourself. When you level yourself you actually get somthing out of it. Feeling Accomplished! I was a powerlevel/trade noob for a long time. Once I buckled down and leveled my own Warrior to 80 i felt pritty accomplished. I don't like trading/traders/powerlevelers/account buyers i'm trying to convince you not to do it!

Obviously, the risk of getting scammed come from people such as yourself who cheat other or used to cheat other people out of their trade.

There is always a risk handling wow account, even if you don't deal with a scammer. But the again what in life isn't risky?

Just like anything buying/selling/trading is a game and those who learn how to play it will be successful.

It's a really nice guide to show people how dangerous it can be.

    Thanks, Kables.

Just only trade with people who have strong reputations and you are good to go.

My friend sold his account and then recovered it without problems, with gear upgrades too. I'll find out where he sold it.

When you buy an account (I have in the past), I had a feeling that, "Okay, I bought this account, but is it really mine?

    No, It's not.

Unless I become that person it never will be. So what I learned to do is to have, (if you're buying)

Not only for the seller to send you the CD-Keys, Name, Number, and Address, But most importantly, Before you purchase the account ask the seller to fill out the "Account Retrieval" form in case the account gets locked and to send/fax a copy to you.

If he says no, don't buy from him.

I know he will be iffy about it, being it's his personal information, but it is really the only secure way to do these things.

And, if you are really the kind of person paying $200+ for a single account, that seller better be willing to bow down to you.

The moral is look before you leap.

Meh, it's like this with any trade. Either trust the person or find someone that you know is trustworthy.
