How would you explain Narthans account actually being banned after receiving mail like this one ? And him contacting blizzard and they telling him that the mail is legit ? Also as the discussion on the other thread goes: From this kind of setup the scammer can't receive anything from you. Since the return mail is @blizzard.com and there is no link at all where you should input your information.

Its thoses bulk emails in your junk box. They look real, The email looks real and im sure if you were to print off and smell the paper it would smell real.But its FAKE.:\

If you mean find out if they are real or not..
They have names such as
-Worldofwarcraft Account Information Change Instructious (Instructions is spelled wrong by the way)
-Account and Computer Security
-World of Warcraft - Account Management


They also come from a person that has email extension @blizzard.com, but you can see if it really came from them by doing something like:
-Actions, Extend Header/Show full header
-Show Original Message (might have to look around for this one)

They will have a link inside that looks legit but brings you to a bogus site that is not battle .net or worldofwarcraft .com

Or if the sender is really stupid it asks you for information such as your password and secret answer. (please don't be stupid enough to fall for this)

good thing you can setup a list of safe emails and then block all emails from people not on your MSN or on the safe list on hotmail.
