Does this still work?
lol im cool rite
I'm training now xD
im having trouble with this, after it presses f1 and hits trade, the green thng goes away as if u didnt click trade. u cant trade like within 1 second of changing an item or something
i cant' believe this scam is still going strong after 2 years nearly.
So what do I do after I get the item? Won't he report me as soon as he realizes it?
I like this scam, but when I try to use it on my friend or anyone else, it clicks trade, and it flashes green, but then it doesn't do anything. Like it gets green for a split second then turns gray again. Any ideas?
thanks mate, great help
Social engineering for dummies:
Scenario 1.
You traded the person and he hits trade before you: quite trade and trade him again. Usually a reason isn't necessary, if he still asks, say that you accidentally hit escape.
Scenario 2:
You put in the money, do the packspace stuff and he realizes that you put in less money than he wants.
Say that you misread what he typed and quit the trade, you lost your chance to scam this person.
Scenario 3:
You successfully do the scam and get the item for much less than the seller wanted (you win).
Now the seller will start to RAAAAAGEEEEE and accuse you of scamming any might try to threaten you with a report.
As long as you didn't clearly agree on a price, you are fine with saying "Oh, I thought you only wanted XXXg."
Now you can feel free to log out or do whatever, since a GM cannot harm you for doing that.
Scenario 4:
Same as 3 but you agreed on a price before. simple: FAIL. You can get banned for that, your only choices may be to pay what you promised or trade the money back, saying it was an accident and you don't want the item anymore.
If you logout and get reported you will most likely get banned for scamming.
Now have fun
i'm gonna go do this. I hope this works
*crosses fingers*
