If you're having ANY troubles with the scam or any questions, please ask here, someone else may have the same question

Forgot to add, those are Memphiz's now public pages, thanks to him for them, check his post for the log link

So your sitting there thinking...well golly guys I've got the darndest domain for phishing in the entire world...but spamming people to login isn't working...what should I do thephantom?

Or, well golly the little whippersnapper fell for it, but the darned goober won't gimme more information and I want a permaaccount!

Never fear, for my endless ingenuity has created a solution for your problems

The sample conversation is below, and in most cases is all you need to get the info, without tweakage at all. However the last part can be changed/removed about the whole e-mail confirmation thing, I just see tons of questions asking on how to keep an account permanently (I too was destroyed in the banwave) and besides completely stealing a person's identity this is the best way

By the way besides telling all you e-mail phishers to use HTML instead of Photoshop this is my first worthy contribution to the site...woot I guess?

    Convo Legend
(In parentheses)Don't say this part, this is why we pay attention in English class =)
(*Asteriks and parentheses*) Don't say this, also represents an action i.e. twiddling your thumbs

Ok everyone's going hmm...what to use this in conversation as to get them to login...hmmm well, here it goes

    Convo

Me (In a forum, look for noobs, not many Tier 6 70's on the WoW boards fall for this stuff...posting this on there is also a ban..and you'll destroy our public reverse login page)-Get legit free game time from a GameCard! Just PM me to find out how!

Victim-This better not be a scam...but...how and why mister?

Me-I want an easy way to make money, so I decided to set up a cool new feature for World of Warcraft...I thought...hmm a lot of people play this game, and since it's 15$ a month, people would love giving game time as a present, so I set up a site/program that allows you to input someones information and a gamecard code to credit to their account

Victim-Hey...yeah! So what does this have to do with gametime?

Me- Well, Blizzard doesn't just buy into any idea...they're a major corporation and I'm just little old me, so I said I can prove the system works by getting people to use it, if enough people use it Blizzard will buy into my idea and $$$ for me! Unfortunately, I don't have any $$$ to advertise it, I'm not a millionaire, and people aren't really biting on it...so, I decided to just give out free gametime from gamecards with it to people to get them to start using the service

    Victim-So I get free gametime?

Me- Yup, and the best part is it doesn't violate Blizz's terms and I can't scam you because I don't need the account name or password! I just need all of the other information (too lazy to look up, and I'm afraid I'd leave something out), then I can credit you the 1 free month of gametime to your account, and voila! I have a customer and you have a free month!

Victim- Yippee! Ok well here it is *blah blah blah*

Me- Ok gimme a few minutes (*look at inapprotiate content, play games I don't care for a few minutes but convince them you actually took time to do it though*)

Me- Ok done, now login in here directly (paste this code, it looks like it's the World of Warcraft page but it's actually this page, if you don't know how to work it GTFO)

For forums you would use a code like "MMOwned.com - World of Warcraft Exploits,Hacks, Bots and Guides" so it would look like MMOwned.com - World of Warcraft Exploits,Hacks, Bots and Guides (take out the space at the end

if it doesn't work, you might as well start over)

Thanks to Darkninja, my HTML and URL were being homosexual so I "borrowed" his

Me- Wait! Before you login I forgot to tell you, since this is still in the BETA stages you get an error when you try to login, so you need to login, then you'll see the error then quit the browser, COMPLETELY, once you're done come back here and I'll tell you what else you have to do

Victim- Thank you so much (they go and do their thing)

    Me- (*Twiddles Thumbs*)

Victim- (*Comes back*) Yup it worked exactly like you said!

Me- That's great! Thank you for helping me out, (Check your page, and login to their account and change the email) there's just one more error that occurs, and that's why I brought you back here, go ahead and check your email, and you'll get some weird email from Blizzard to change your email...because my program/site is still in the BETA stages, this is basically you accepting the free month...unfortunately Blizzard hasn't set up a real confirmation reply system yet for me because I haven't proven this is a "profit producing venture" yet, so I just used one they already had. Just go ahead and accept that and you'll get your free month!

Victim- You...are...a...GOD!!! Thank you dude (*Accepts E-Mail Change*)

Me- If you have any problems just let me know at [email protected] (Not a real e-mail peanut brains)

Forgot to add, if they ask why they can't just go to your site themselves, say something like; (A) Blizzard doesn't want me hosting it on a public domain or (B) I'm just running it locally during the BETA so I don't have to pay for a domain, I'm a birdy cheap cheap

Feel free to skip the change email part if you don't plan on keeping the account long term, as it is the least believable part...other than that..it works like a charm!

(No I don't talk like a durned whippersnapping goober all the time, I did it to add humor...I hate some of you clueless types out there)

Re: Perfect Conversation for Scamming through Phishing

Sounds good, but they'd have to be awfully stupid to not read the confirmation email. +1 Rep though, been looking for something like this.
EDIT: Whats the extra information? Their email and sq/a?

Extra information what I was thinking was e-mail, phone number, address...anything to make them feel more like you were identifying their account more

I also just thought, if you get their email, try and use the same password to log onto their email...if that works you don't need to tell them about the email "bug" and instead can just do it all yourself

thephantom, that's usually what I do. I'd say 7/10 times, they use the same password for their WoW account and for their e-mail.

just got another account with this, he fell for the email "bug" though so I'm not sure it's much of an account to brag about
