Have you ever wanted the ultimate scam? What better than to give a person the link to a full site exactly like the original? Well, we arent there yet but we are close.
You can upload this to your server (with some editing) and scam people... if not have an awesome website template fo your guild or clan.

V0.5 Notes:
1. Website is decompiled into html and xml.
2. Menu code works.
3. Unimportant links make you go to the real site. This decreases webspace usage... Links are almost never used anyways.
4. Many graphics are missing but can be fixed by you if you have the knowledge. If not, wait for further updates.
5. header works but does not show images... will. try to fix in further updates. A static image might be a quick fix.

1. click on download link
2. click on "page" tab in internet explorer (newest version)

Usage Guide for v0.5:
How to write and change links on site.

1. you will need a visual webpage creator with an html editor built in. I use Dreamweaver but anything similar might work.

2. Download the lo-fi version of the site. This will be used as a template to edit stuff on the "heavy duty" site. No images will appear but it is ok.

3. Once you have the lo-fi version opened in dreamweaver, go to the design page and highlight what you want to change

4. Now click on the "code" tab and the what you highlighted will appear in html form.

(make note of the number on the left. the circled part is the link of the text... so all you need to do is change it to the link of you scam login page. But mind you this is the lo-fi version)

5. Open up the "heavy duty" version and make sure it is in the code tab. The site is too large and will most likely crash the editor if opened on the design tab. go down to a number similar to what was seen on the lo-fi version. Once you find the same text change it to what you want.

This system works for everything including text on main page so when blizzard updates its news, you can go right along with it.

It's actually pretty easy to just open up wordpad and fix the edits manually

Just copy the code from:

and everything between, until this:

And note that the var postId2 could be different depending on what newspost you're copying

Then just add it above the

and edit the description and dates


However, I would suggest someone to make a phpscript, like an admin panel that you can login, and use a form to create the news, instead of using wordpad/dreamweaver, because let's face it... we're lazy (which is probably why you downloaded this website instead of making it your own) xD

Here are a few of the pages you get and can edit with this, (package contains more than 50 pages from the real site)

Something you could do, if its in a forum or pm... is mask the url.

www.worldofwarcraft.com
(redirects to google for example)

then you could make the scam page open in a popup window so that the url bar is hidden.

Get an url like www.w0rldofwarcraft.com (note the o in world is actually a zero). Plus mask the link when you post it to ppl.

Like this:
www.worldofwarcraft.com

This will make it almost impossible to see it's a fake :P
