Good news everyone! I've figured out a way to use two different watch / unwatched overlays so now I can add them to the text-based lists. Update soon!

This is true. It is a very amazing device, I have owned one for almost a year now. I had a friend tell me that it's a gimmick and that he wouldn't be buying one, then ironically he got his account hacked a week later and lost everything. Point is, this is very worth buying, even if you are someone who loses things easily. If you are forgetful like that, copy the code on the back of the authenticator on a piece of paper and keep that paper somewhere safe where you'll never lose it. Therefore, if you lose your key, you can unbind the key from the account by using the serial key you wrote down previously.

If you have Paypal account with some money, log onto Paypal and look for Paypal plugin for browser. If your browser is supported (IE and Firefox, not sure of other browsers), you can use Paypal plugin to get around this. Just go to the order page, and when it asks for payment, click on the down arrow next to P logo, select generate secure card. Paypal will make a one use credit card # that you can use to apply to the order for authenticator.

I've used this plugin on many sites that don't take Paypal without any problem.

If your browser is not supported, get Firefox. Don't use IE it's too exploitable anyway.

Authenticator on (almost) any Java capable phone

As an alternative, you can also purchase a software version of the authenticator for various mobile phones:

    Blizzard store

As the mobile authenticator is written in Java/J2ME, it's also possible to run it on some officially unsupported phones or with unsupported carriers:

It's a bit of a hack but I hear it works. I for one am too much of a cheapskate to buy it and still rely on my system's security.

This is a great tool. I know that I have never heard of someone getting hacked with an authenticator.
