Nice one . Will try it as soon as possible![]()
Here is a new one that has taken me a while to perfect. The basic idea of the scam is to use a simple in-game emote macro to scam idiots into viewing your phisher. People WILL fall for this scam surprisingly, it has worked for me and there are many many possibilities as to what this could be used for aside from just a phisher.
Here is how it works!
STEP 1: Get on a scammed account, pick a server
STEP 2: Create a character named “Blizzard” or “Cataclysm” or something appropriate for what you are doing. You will see why below
STEP 3: Use a /e macro to make something appear in the chat log that will make people visit your phisher.
EXAMPLE 1-
/e Beta signups are now open! Visit “your phisher here” so sign up now!
So if you were using the name “cataclysm” it would appear like this…
“Cataclysm Beta signups are now open! Visit for more info!”
EXAMPLE 2-
/e Entertainment requests that you verify your account info now!
Would appear like this if your character was named Blizzard
“Blizzard Entertainment requests that you verify your account info now!
I made a character called Signups and used the macro /e for Cataclysm Beta are now openJoin The Fight Now!! and had a lot of success with that one.
STEP 4: People will only seeing this macro from a certain distance. So run around using this macro once in a while. Go near larger groups of people and use it.. go to different cities and different servers.
STEP 5: ENJOY YOUR ACCOUNTS!!

I swear this was the exact same style as the Battle.Net scam of some sort... where you make a character's name 'game' or w/e, and then emote so that people will go to your phisher... but this has a whole idea behind it, so GJ. +REP
Looks epic to me!
Deyyyuummm. Sexy 7it. I've thought about this but not to this degree. Good job, +rape
