    The Mount Scam! (NOT Another TCG SCAM!)
    I would like you all to know that this isn't my scam, I did not come up with it. Someone my server (Smolderthorn) apparently has a bot that messages people with whispers.

    The whisper was from Blizzadmin (and I'm changing the whisper a bit) and it said "Blizzard is getting new mounts and you have been chosen as a fateful player to receive one, please login to mounts-wow.net (his site not mine) and claim your reward."

    The problem with the site at the moment is that it doesn't check email addresses or passwords for authenticity but it does get the SQA and email. I was wondering if anyone else could reproduce this site for the masses so I could put it in this post and give credit to it.

    To the person that started the scam, please pm me with proof that that site is yours or that you came up with the scam yourself and I will delete this post.

    I saw this too but the name was 'Billing' and it told me to go to the same website.
    The server I got the whisper on was Tortheldrin.

    I've received about 10 whispers from people like this, in one case they spelt warcraft wrong. the website they sent me was like

    mounts-warcfaft.com


    I just rofl'd at him.

    Just got another one of these messages, seem to get like...3-4 a day. This is what he sent me.

    That is everything he sent me word for word, with spelling mistakes and improper punctuation aha.
