Weekday's Account Scam Method
("Note that this wont work for US because in US you need the phone number to change info.")

This is an updated thread based on my old one (that's deleted now). (Thanks to Kuiren)
It's now more appealing to the eye, fixed spelling errors and made it even more understandable/noob proof, and most important, it's up to date!

This scam is really easy and will succeed most of the time!
Read on!

Don't include the red text while chatting with the victim. It's just warnings!

Optionally: You will need to download (if you don't have it already) Mozilla here: Firefox - Rediscover the Web
and install Kaizou. That's a Mozilla Firefox addon and can be found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4289

1* Go to a site where WoW accounts are traded.

2* Sign up if necessary.

3* Find a character you want. Look for those with bad spelling, those who have a low post count, not so many or no trades completed.
They are probably stupid and easier to scam.

4* Add them to MSN/AIM or any Instant Messenger service, find your own way to get their MSN/AIM if they don't show it in their thread.

5* If you have a lvl 80 character that the victim might be interested of, don't be afraid to show it.
He can't report you and he would feel more secure if you showed your character.

Optionally: Just get the armory of any character that the victim might be interested of and say your on a laptop without WoW or make something up.

To improve this I use the Kaizou method.
Go to your Account Management page and then go to Transfer Character page,
find one of your characters that is lvl 10+ on your account. Any server, doesn't matter, change the lvl to 80, change the server, and make it look like the character you just found on the armory, only using Kaizou.

If it's not over lvl 10 it would say character is to low to transfer and that wouldn't look any good.
Take a screen shot and send it to the victim as a proof. They will think you have the character, the account and (but not always) will accept the trade because you just showed them the character that was on the armory on your account page!

6* Go on and talk about some details and when the victim feels for trading then you go to step 7*.
Never, and I mean never ask if the victim wants to trade, make it up to them and let them be the first to say it. If the victim still doesn't want to trade, you might wait a day with this victim, move on with a new one and deal with this victim later.

7* When the victim wants to trade you want to do it in this order:

* Full name registered to the account:
* Original Email registered to the account:
* Original WoW CD-Key:
* Account name:
* Secret Question and Answer:
This part under isn't important just make sure to include it when you write, You wont actually do it!
(* Email change
* Account Password: ) <----- You wont do this part!!

The thing is that you will only need the information listed above the red text!
Tell the victim that you will start with giving each other the info (first above the red text and then the info under the red text)
Like this:

First we give each other this info.. Ok?

* Full name registered to the account:
* Original Email registered to the account:
* Original WoW CD-Key:
* Account name:
* Secret Question and Answer:

and then we do this.. Ok?

* Email change
* Account Password: < --- Just write this part don't do it!!

(Copy paste it if you want to but don't include the red text)

You might just give the victim some fake info.

8* When you have got all the victims info (that's above the red text),
tell the victim that you found another more interesting character and that you want to cancel the trade.
So when your about to do the email change, you say you want to cancel the trade because you found a much better character that you want even more.
Wait for the victims answer and continue without blocking him/her.
The victim will be suspicious but you should continue talking with him/her until they feel that they can trust you.
Speak about some random stuff, maybe become friends, I don't know.

9* Make a new email account here: Get Windows Live
Make it similar to the victims original registered account email.

10* Make a new mail to [email protected] and give them all the info you just got, here's an example:

* Full name registered to the account: "The full name registered to the account that you just got"
* Original Email registered to the account: "The [email protected] that you just got"
* Original WoW CD-Key: "The CD-Key that you just got"
* Account name: "The account name that you just got"
* Secret Question and Answer: "The SQ/SA that you just got"

That is actually all the information they need and in some days (be patient, it took me 4 days) they will reply and tell you that the email has been changed!

11* Go to "Forgot Password" page and retrieve the password.
You will get the password in some minutes (mostly less).
Now start play on your new acccount!

12* The victim will not be suspicious and will not think you scammed him/her because you didn't make the email change with him/her (you did it by blizzard) and you didn't block him/her.
The victim will not think you are the scammer and you will have the account with your email on it!

Tips: Save all the information you get in notepad or something similar because you might want it later!

Note that the victim can take the account back with his/her ID, Passport or Drivers License but mostly not because account traders are mostly not the original owner of the account.

I'm pretty sure there are a few guides on this. But your's is nicely written. It has a slight twist the order in which you get the info is different then what i have seen. This just seems like it would take longer but have a better success rate. So Overall nice guide!
