Another epic failure. This is common sense, repost and VERY old. Even older than TBC. EVERYONE know that emails saying "It has come to our attention that you are trying to buy/sell your account..." are fake.
I've scammed over 5 level 80 accounts using this way. I dont know if its a repost or not but i can swear to god ( im a muslim) that i made this scam combining 4 different scams I've read here.
What you need:
Fake mailer
Patience
Cool attitude
Iq higher than 90
Phishing website
Ok first you start by scanning markeedragon forums and watch for topics like WTS level 80 mage epic full
You post on the guys thread and ask the guy to contact you on AIM
Then you negociate on the price, if he wants $500, you offer him $430
Be realistic dont just agree on the price. Ask for his reputition page. Always keep him under pressure with questions. Always be the one accusing. Ask him to show the link to the armory page. Anyway after your done doing this then comes the fun part
Ask him for his paypal email and tell him you will send him the payment. When he gives his paypal email, send the phishing email saying blizzard is investigating the account for trading/selling blah blah blah. There is a avalible template of the email avalible on this site.
What will be the result. I've tried this scam 15 times and 5 of the time it resulted me in getting full info of the account. So it has a success rate of %33.3, which is very good since we are only targetting level 80 epic accounts hereHe will also have a very hard time on getting you banned in markee since you never asked for the account info
Anyway guys ive been a member for over a year here and realized it was my turn to contribute
Have fun with the scam
