Hey I looked around and didn't see this scam posted any where. I first tried doing this after I wanted to get into a guild on my old server. They were the 6th ranked guild on all USA realms. After I got kicked out because I got pissed that I couldn't get into any sunwell raids and let some information go. But then I did the same thing for a guild ranked 11th, this is the same server and it worked! Anyways lets get started
To start this off find the guild you are looking for. After you find them go to wowarmory and look threw there guild roster. Find someone who hasn't been on in over a month or so. After you have found that person, log onto your wow account. I always do this on a 70... And its always worked for me but you don't have to. You can try it on whatever level you want. To start this off whisper the guild leader and say something like, " Hey man whats up haven't talked to you in ever, hows the guild doing? " He will probably reply with something like " Who is this? " After he says that, Go check armory again or whatever for the persons who hadn't been online for awhile in that guild. reply to him with the persons name who hadnt been on in a while and say " its me Projim " (just and example) From then on try and answer any questions he says the best you can. If he asks you how did you get that character tell him your friend in real life wanted you to start playing him again so he gave him to you. You can say you paid him or whatever doesnt matter. I guess I got lucky because they could have told me to get on vent and they never did. If they do say that though just tell him that your mic broke... I understand this is a terrible excuse but its better than nothing. Also as soon as I said that to them they just said. " Omg you came back to wow " Also most of these top guilds keep all there old members who quit, even if they aren't important. The two I were in had a Retired rank.
What to do if you actually get in. Basically what I did when I got invited was try and stay low. I didn't talk much because I was afraid someone would question me. Although you may say whats the point of being in a guild if you are always afraid you will get kicked? Well the second guild I got into I got fully geared in sunwell gear. Then one day I decided it would be funny to tell them that I wasn't actually the person they thought it was. I personally don't suggest saying that to them because you will get harassed none stop, you will probably make you realm forums and so on. I'm sure your all reading and saying this cant work.. Well thats what I thought. Anyways good luck. Leave any feedback on how to improve it or any questions.

Thanks mate![]()
Hmm, well should be a section called Luckers, now a days way to many scams depend on luck. Just like this, but well still nice and good to see you are contributing (A LOT) footspeedy
Ya sadly most scams depend on luck o well
Good idea, but I have some questions. Since the person you are impersonating has been offline and is still in the guild, that makes it probable that they were either well liked, or knew the GM well, etc. That would make impersonating them rather hard. Also, wouldnt the guild have some questions about how you "just levelled to 80" but during that time talked to none of them?
I guess you could say your account was banned, but alot of guilds dont take kindly to any activity that endangers accounts. Just some thoughts, but it seems like it would work if you found the right combination of circumstances.
So the guild member who hasn't been online for say a month is Projim. You are /w the GM under another name and telling him you are the long lost member named Projim. The gm then asks you, "well Projim, what happened to your account ? "
Did I miss something here?
lol not bad, i might try this with my old guild
Ill edit this in forgot to say, I always say my buddy got me back into wow so he gave me this character to transfer. Always worked for me but also based on luck
Good guide, +Rep
I would edit it and make it a little bit more readable. Wall of text = gahhhh
Thanks, ill change color if thats what you mean![]()
On the WoW armoury you can tell how long ago the person was online?
I thought that kinda personal information wasn't given out.
Here is a random armory I pulled up The World of Warcraft Armory At the bottom under the bracers and the weapon it says Last Updated: December 13, 2008. Basically if the last updated is like a month old that means the player hasn't been on in around a month.
lol! it worked i got into the guild iv been wanting to get into for the past few months, thanks man + REP
That's not true.
I have a toon I haven't payed for in more than a month. More than 3 months, and it says December 8th.
The World of Warcraft Armory
Notice the untallented, proving he hasn't been on since the free respec.
