[Bliizard Invite] Fake

I thought i'd come up with a twist on the modern, email security exploit scam.

Required Items:

-Fake Emailer-
-Victim's Email-
- Social Engineering/Good Grammer-
(Word is your friend!)
-Patience-


Ok, so here goes, it's a twist on the security scam, and requires you to go to a emailer site, and create a legit sounding Blizz email, (don't no reply cause the have to reply!)


Find your victim, now preferably don't choose an 80 with some T6 gear, raiding Naxx and what not, but rather some nooby 71 with shit greens.

This way, it would seem more legit, and with a higher chance of them falling for it.


Now, the fun part comes from the fact that, instead of saying you've been comprimised, you say you've been choosen out of the select few, to test out new Blizzard content! ( They feel special :P)

What this means! (Your Letter to Victim)

We request your information, to verify and register, your Account to one of our Pre-Beta Test Servers, which will allow you to try out the new content and report any bugs to us.

Please Note, you are of the select few who has been chosen, along side you, only 14 others from your server have been selected, please take note of this.

This is the Account form, which you are required to complete.

The thoroughness of this template is required to ensure, Blizzards security as well as yours.

im new, im trying to help out, and trying to learn something along the way, so plz dont bomb me. And you clearly never read the end when i said gimme comments on how to make it better, and like i said before this is a twist, on an existant scam, but nothing along the lines of begin invited by Blizzard to "new realm"

Yeah that grammar needs to be fixed. That is the first thing you have to worry about, else none will fall for that.

Also, you need to rewrite the letter. No one will belive that little sentance there. So come edit your post, fix grammar, fix the whole mail.

Then come back and ask what we think about it.

Alright thank you, i've revised the emai scam, see how you like it, actually used Word , hope it sounds a little more legit, used one of Blizzards emails as my reference to words and structure.

I lol'ed When you say they NEED to complete the account form thing so blizz can register there acc to the list / confirm it. Then you you if they dont fill the form you will remove there account from the list. I'm not using your exact words but anyways, if you need the person's account name and password, and then you say you already know it ( well in some way thats what u say) Who would believe that. In easier words : You ask for there account name. But if they dont tell the account name there account name will be removed from the list.

Your just dumb, im sorry, i make no reference to knowing their account, by saying that you are in no way forced to participate in this oppurtunity it sounds more legit. I never mention knowing their info, all i say is that IF they want to be a part of it , fill out the form and reply to email.

And the reason, it sounds "complicated" is to ensure that it sounds like its actually coming from Blizzard, you on the other hand want to to bascially say

"THIS IS A SCAM!! GIVE ME YOUR INFO,!!"

Btw, thats what i practically say, u fill out accepted, dont ur Account removed from "Pre-Beta Testing" List
