Ok. So what u need is just some wrapping paper, and a alt, name it something with bank then travel to a capital city (dont go to org)

Step 1: Send like 1s from ur main so u can buy some wrapping paper.
Wrap a white or gray item, liek ur starting wep.

Step 2: Go to the AH and choose an item, in this case i choosed Ice Striker's Cloak (Sry for nu url, im too lazy to make 3posts)

Step 3: Write in the trade chat: WTS Ice Striker's Cloak (link it) cheaper then AH!
/w me with offers

Step 4: Someone whispers u, and wants to buy it, talk with him a little til u get a nice amount of gold, i got 470gold, And he probably aint a mage and aint in the city u are in so ask him if u can c.o.d it to him, he says like sure or something.

Step 5: Send the item u wrapped earlier and write on the mail note: I wrapped it to make u happy :> or sumthing like that.

Step 6: Logout, login like 1hour or so later, take the money send it to your main and delete the character.

Step 7: Enjoy your money!

Could you just trade the person you want to scam and say that wrapping it for them was the least you could do for them, since it's the holiday season. As an excuse, you could say that it took such a long time to sell that item, ant the peson you want to scam finally was nice enough to buy it. I think that would work. Also, do it on a level 10+ character, with a guild bank similar name. It looks more legit than on a level 1.
