[exploit scam] legally scam tcg code

[exploit scam] legally scam tcg code
Ok so I did some inquiring with my server's GMs, and said "Someone scammed me out of a TCG code, they COD'd the code to me in a Plain Letter and the code didn't work, is there any way I can get it back?"

The GM said that since I paid them for a Plain Letter, and I dual boxed and made out a whole conversation, and never during the conversation did I ever say that the code WILL give a TCG Mount (spectral tiger, x51 nether rocket), they couldn't take any action.

Ok so here's what you do. Level a char to PAST level 3 ish. Level 1 = Scam. Make a legit macro. Spam trade, make sure its not JUST A SPECTRAL TIGER, as many people say "Scam" in trade and ruin the business.

Make sure you say "WTS rare TCG Collectibles" or something of the sort.

If you get a whisper, make sure you set a reasonable price. I do 2500g. To reassure people, I say "1250 now, and 1250 after you check to see 'if' the card is real". Keep the IF. Also opt to remain online throughout the transaction while they go to booty bay.

When they agree, COD them the plain letter (you can send the letter to your alt from the scamming char, then send the letter back and take the plain letter. It will only have your scammer's name attached to it.) for 1250, or if you're doing the nether rocket, for 2k or whatever (half, or 75%, to keep em eased). And if they take it, take the gold, get a ginvite to a guild you may own and deposit it into the guild bank, or dual box trade it. GM's may expect you to SEND the gold through mail, which is where they check first. Im willing to bet they check the gbank records much later. That's if you **** it up and say the code WILL give the mount.

I actually talked to a GM on my main, saying that I told him the code could be real. The GM said "due to technicalities, we're issuing an informal warning".

It may take a few tries, and space this out over a week (its faster than farming that gold for the epic flyer) but its worth it.

I made the mistake of sending the gold and saying it WILL give a code, and taking it through trade, etc, leaving a paper trail, and I got a 72 hour ban. For 1 transaction. Then i try this, 5000g and a CE hyppogryph later, I'm still not banned for 1 second.
