1.0- What is scamming?
scamming- a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, esp. for making a quick profit; swindle.
The idea of scamming in WoW is to get the victim's account information. To successfully scam some one
someone you will need their account name, and the account password. Now if you only have these
pieces of information you will most likley not keep the account for very long due to the fact that that
they can get it back at any given time if they have the: email registered to the account, the secret question
awnser, and the phone number. Now this problem of having them retrieve the password and taking back their
account can be fixed by getting thoes last bits of information to completley make the account yours.
In this compendium i will help you scam a secure account, for profit or pay.

1.2- What can be done with scamming?
The account that you scam can easly be turned into a profit given that you have all of the information
that will make it secure. Or you can always use it for play.

2.0- What is needed to scam.
There are diffrent things that you will need to have and know according to what scam you are using.

2.1- People skills
Some scams such as person to person scams will require you to have good people skills, to convince them
that they can trust you.

2.2- Instant Messengers
When doing person to person scams like scamming people on makreedragon you will need an instant messenger
to talk to them. For example: MSN, AIM.

2.3- HTML knowlage
This will be required when trying to set up a phishing website like the frozen throne account upgrade website.

2.4- Desktop recorder
Can come in handy when using Youtube scams.

2.5- Access to a WoW account
Will be used for many things. Mostly keeping gold after a scam.

2.6- Good spelling
A MUST when acting as a company when trying to scam someone person to person.

2.7- Knowlage of what not to do while scamming someone
there are small little things that you can say to completley mess up a scam. For example when you are acting as
a company and you tlk like u r tlking when u wer 10. No one is going to trust you if you talk like that. Always use proper grammar
and correct spelling.

2.8- Kaizou
Kaizou is a firefox addon that is great for person to person scams when you are asked to change the email. Kaizou is a HTML
editor that you can use to edit anything on a website.

2.9- Email
It is most important that you have a good email that you can use to contact people when you are scamming them.

3.0- Scamming methods
The following methods will use some of the things that you need to scam from section 2.0. Here I will teach you about
some of the methods of scamming. (NOT ALL OF THEM)

3.1- Phishing websites
Phishing websites is a good way to get a LOT of accounts that aren't really secure. They are good for hacking,
and doing the turtle mount scam. Here is a link to an example of a Phishing website template

3.1.1- TFT account upgrade

3.2- Phishing on Youtube
Most people don't think that scamming on youtube acctualy works, But it does! I had a very successful scamming video on youtube

3.2.1- Email related scams
Email scams on youtube such as the video up above is the main way to recive the account info from your victims, If you have anything better
i would recomend useing that.

3.2.2- GM account upgrade scam
There was a user on mmowned that had a GREAT youtube GM scam. I can't find the link right now (too lazy) but this is also a great method.

3.2.3- Dont steal other peoples scam ideas!
This is the one thing that really makes me mad, People stealing other peoples ideas on how to scam on youtube. Just please think of your own ideas!

3.3- Account trading/ selling scams
This is the most effective way to scam! You can get a very secure accounts using this. I would recomend this method over all others.

3.3.1- Websites/ Finding people to scam
There are some good WoW account trading /selling/ buying websites, JUST CHECK GOOGLE! When you are on one of the websites, look for the ones with the following:
-Picture of the toon
-One with a instant messenger on it (don't spend time trying to get it)
-Not too over geared because most of the over geared ones are fake.
-Look for one that has been posted the latest

3.3.2- WTS scams
these are a lot more successful than the other ones because it seems as if they just want to get rid of the account and dont care too much about scammers.

3.3.2.1- Hasslehoff's company scam
This is my faviorite scam imo, JUST remember to use good grammar and spelling! If they ask for voice confirmation, just go afk wile "looking for customer service" .
My way to do this scam is:
1) have them change the account email to an email that you made (random email).
2) once you get a confirm email ask for the first and last name of the account.
3) then the phonenumber on the account and the secret question awnser.
4) last ask for the account password
5) use the account name on the confirm email to retrieve the password and write down the new password
6) then you are done, you have all of the information you need to keep it, If you want ask for the cd keys.


3.3.3- WTT scams
These sometimes work, depends on how good you are with your people skillz. If it works, Congrats man!

3.3.3.1- Kaizou scam
or the email scam, just use this html editor to "change" the email on the account you are trading and take a SS then send it to them, have them do the same but with out kaizou.

3.4- Keyloggers (I'M NOT SHOWING HOW TO DO THIS)
These are good at getting account info, but really really bad, I would not recomend using these.



3.5- Gold Scams
below will show you some good gold scam methods.

3.5.1- Turtle Mount
I have made over 14kg with this scam, you just have to be creative, and use a scammed account when doing this scam. Exuses are the best thing to make them trust you!

Ok, start off my asking in trade. make a blood elf warlock chick. helps a lot.
say that you will sell it for 2.5kg . after all of the people stop smapping trade with SCAMMER! then you can start /w'ing every one who sent you a msg wanting to buy.
If you are going to poss as a company selling the code then remember to use good spelling ect.
now, they WILL ask you how can they trust you... just say "well this is what we can do, you pay half now, go get YOUR mount, come back here and pay the rest" most people will agree.
Do not just stop at one, scam one then send the money to your account, then repeat.



3.5.2- Gold selling website
This is basicly for when you try to fool a worker at a gold selling website to think that you bought gold an you never recived it. FAKE paypal recipts are AWSOME USE THEM!


3.5.3- COD scam

Not a lot of skill used here.


3.5.4- Farming the auction houes
setting up a bot and auctioneer to take epix off of the nutral AH when someone is transfering them acrross factions. My personal faviorite becasue of the the supprises.

recommend Booty bay for this, more hiding places.

4.0- Setting up a secure scam
The follow information will completely make the account yours:

Account Name
Account pass
Account email
account phone number
account last and first name
accound cd keys
account secret question awnser


4.1- Screen shots
when you find someone on a forum, make them send you screenshots of the character, it really helps make it look real.


4.2- Ventrilo/ confirmation
when scamming WTT scams on a forum ask for voice confirmation, makes you look less like a scammer and filters out the scammers from the legit people.

Things to do to end the scam.

5.1- Using the account to play
if you dont have an account or you have a friend that doesnt have an account give it to them

5.2- Selling the account
Just sell it agin on the forum to make some $! or sell it here, but make sure you state that YOU ARE NOT OO!

5.3- Renting the account
rent the account to farmers for a daily profit, I recomend doing this!!

yes, scamming makes you look bad, but its just one of the things you get used to. along with the guilt that you get later that night.

nice and organized i suggest when you have time of course updating it with more details/info on the hints. you said at the end that you make 250 a day thats pretty decent but never forget when you invest time and money you can make over $30,000 a month believe me i was making that much at a point so keep scamming and if you have a stone heart then dammit keep going.

Good index, I have a question though. I've been scamming accounts for about 2 weeks, and I haven't really sold any yet, the reason being I'm wondering if I can get into any legal trouble. If selling is ok legally, should I sell it to a company for a quick buck or take my time and sell it to a private buyer?
