The Respec Scam

This is my first scam. Constructive Criticism is welcome.

My main character is a Retribution Paladin and everybody stereotypes Retribution Paladins as noobs and that they should respec to Holy. So after hearing this time and time again I came up with the Respec scam.

Since Patch 2.4 everybody is doing Heroics to get Badges for the new badge gear that is available once all areas of Isle of Quel'Danas belong to the Shattered Sun Offensive. Because of this you can get alot of income in a couple of hours.

Step 1:
If you do not already have gear for you other talent trees get some even the new PVP Rare Set 2 is acceptable.

Step 2:
Go to a Major City and start saying that you need a group for any Heroic Instance and that you can spec to the talent tree that they need you to be. Example: Holy/Prot/Ret Paladin LFG Any Heroic Instance. Pst.

Step 3:
Chances are the people who pst you will ask what spec you are say that you are the worst out of the 3. Example: A Mage would say Arcane. A Paladin would say Ret. Once you get in the group ask if anyone would like to donate money to help you respec. If they ask how much it costs say that due to all of the respeccing to everybody's needs It costs 50g

Step 4:
You already know that for heroics you are going to run with 5 people so if you party is smart they will each give you ~11g. If they aren't say something after all 11g isn't a lot to a level 70 and they won't take as begging because you are respeccing for their benefit.

Step 5: The Moneytaker
Because you are right in front of them when they give you the gold you are going to have to leave the area so go to a Major City if you are in Shattrath and go to your Trainer. Once you are there say that you have extremely bad lag then Alt + F4. Log back in ~5 minutes later depending on how populated your server is.

The reason they won't ask for their money back:
Once you log back in the chance that they will whisper you asking for your money back is very low, after all they are looking for 1 person for a heroic group and have probably booted you for another person.

What if they do whisper me/what if they didn't boot me and I'm still in the group when I log back in?
If they do whisper you then say your lag is still horrible and everything is white but a few objects and Alt+F4 again. If you are in a group say the same thing and log back in about 5-10 min later so you are sure they have a replacement and are in the instance.

Hahaha Man if you were in my group I'd kill ya. But yeah this could be a very good one if you are a hybrid class! I will have to try this one out!

This works for any class with a horrible Group Friendly talent tree. Like Destruction Warlocks. Ret Pallies. Arcane Mage. Fury Wars. etc Just say that you are specced in the worst tree and the rest is cake

Fury warriors = PVE dps Arms = pvp dps Arms wud be the worst tree for a heroic

The COD Scam will get you banned easily with anough complaints this scam can't get you banned because you make it seem like you really do want to do the instance but your lag is horrible. The only thing that could make this bannable if somebody reports you is doing the scam the same way over and over again because GM's read chat logs. You need to use your imagination.

dont work on my server, people are smart, if you wanna do heroics or normal MgT you need to spend the gold your self for that respec

you actually have to be that spec, you can't lie about your spec since now you can see what people are through /inspect, but otherwise, GJ
