Resto druids

[Onemore]

Well my guild leader said that all druid have to stay resto for BC, dont now why but he still wants to raid every week....Any other druids having this problem with there guild? Or does anyone know of a good spec that i can still do enough damage to grind and heal good enough for raids?

Well, I am a Priest. But I share your pain. Honestly. I am staying Shadow until 68~70. Why? Cause I won't be raiding till 70. I really don't know why your GM wants to raid Level 60 instances. But that's his choice. You should seriously go feral and grind to 70.

My guild is all about getting to 70. I was an all resto specced druid but they did not expect me to stay that way. It was terrible having to solo when all the other guildies were in instances. I respecced to feral, mowing through thing and still can heal with no problems (only been running Ramparts and Furnace so far). I do miss NS and Swiftmend though.

Tell your guild leader to go spec some hard-to-level-with utility spec and grind to 70. I'd go whatever spec you want, and tell your raid leader you'll respec when the time comes when you need it.

Even the hardcore restos in my guild have gone balance/feral for levelling.
I can't see why most guilds still want to raid, theres a whole new world of content out there in Outland, there's really no use in running the old end game instances atm, unless you want free nexuses. Even our most hardcore guilds on the tip of downing KT have stopped.


Anyway at a push try a 30/21 feral resto spec if it keeps them happy. You're missing out on the fun that is mangle though :\
