I use to rent to wowdollar, but they got me banned. I was pretty naieve that you would not get banned. ALL companies will get you banned within 1-7 days, if you're a rogue, it's less of a chance.

What happens if my account does get banned? And what's the risk with that company?

I wouldn't rent, theres a huge risk in getting banned.
It most likely won't be a perm. ban unless you have been banned before but still risky.
Also, make sure you use a big trusted company or you risk getting your account stolen.
- If you get perm. banned some companies offer free accounts just like your character, your money back, or like $300.
