Free talent redo?

I may have stumbled on a useful exploit if you are low on gold.
I haven't read anything about this so i'm assuming its never been poster before.


My account had expired. I unistaled WoW (don't ask why) and when i reinstaled it and got all the patches DL'd i had to pay for my acc. After i paid i logged on WoW, got on my rogue, and what do you know?

My talents were reset!

Not sure if this is a bug....or because i re-installed WoW and the patches....if any1 takes the time to try this ...that would be helpful!

There was a new patch after 2.0.2 that had new rogue talents, the Shadowstep was added so this aint free talents ;P even though still u get free talents when they change em.... druids also got new talents

For how long didnt you play?
We got a free reset recently, might be that your free reset was from then.

Not a bug. the 2.0.4 patch reset all rogue and druid talent points because of changes in the talent trees.

Hidden patch note: People would get new shiny rocks to live under.


It did say in patch notes there would be a free reset @ 2.0.0. The latest patch did indeed reset druid/rogue ones once more.

i know we had that other one with the new patch a while ago

i havent been on WoW at all within the last month

there was 2.0.3 the 9th january where rogues and druids got free reset.. and then there were 2.0.0 a while back (a month or something?) where everyone got free reset
