Best Mage Key Bindings

Rank 1 spells are often placed on either CRTL+ or Shift+. while solid abilities like Blink, Spellsteal, Fireblast etc. never switches. You'll always need these kind of abilities despite your Spec. Even my low level Shaman has similar binds as my Mage.

F1 Target Self (Oldschool)
F2 Dispel Lesser Curse
F3 -
F4 Mount
F5 - F10 = Planting flowers from DM, Summon Dog from SM, Discombobulator Ray, Camp Fire, Toggle FPS etc. etc.

1 Frostbolt (Full rank)
2 Fireblast
3 Fireball / Scorch (as full Frost)
4 Frost nova (Rank 1)
5 Polymorph (Rank 1)
6 BG Health Potion
7 BG Mana Potion

Q Fireball / Pet attack (as full Frost).
E Icelance / Pet Nova (as full Frost).
R Blastwave / Icelance (as full Frost)
T Cone of Cold
Y Manashield
U Evocation
F Blink
G PvP Trinket
H Fire Ward
J Frost Ward
C Counterspell
V Blizzard (Rank 1)
B Bandage
i - Open Inventory
X - This icon is placed on first actionbar. When I equip an item with an ability (MC cap for example) I drag it to the bind, use it, equip normal helm with Shift + X.

Caps Lock - Coldsnap / Arcane Power / Combustion
Tab - Iceblock / Presence of Mind
§ - Icebarrel / Arcane Slow
Shift+§ - Summon Water Elemental / Pyroblast
+ Invisibility (Minus, right side of keyboard)
< Next Target

Shift + q Spellsteal
Shift + e Arcane Missile (full Rank)
Shift + r Arcane Explosion (full Rank)
Shift + t Cone of Cold (Rank 1)
Shift + f Frostbolt (Rank 1)
Shift + v Blizzard (full Rank)
Shift + B - Open bags

Ctrl + q Fireball (Rank 1)
Ctrl + Will of the Forsaken
Ctrl + r Arcane Explosion (Rank 1)

} is Arcane Intellect (Rank 1)
{ is Frost Armor (Rank 1)
P is Dampen Magic (Rank 1)

Shift + } Arcane Intellect (Full Rank)
Shift + { Frost Armor (Full Rank)
Shift + P Dampen Magic (Full Rank)
O Molten Armor
- I keep adding arcane intellect on myself while a Shaman purged itself tired and leave my Icebarrel alone. Same goes for warlocks and the Felhunters Devour Magic spam. Buff up with rank 1 buffs before they approach. It's useful since a previous battles often leaves you dispeled and a fast setup of rank 1 buffs will keep the Felpup busy for a while.

> Eat Bread
Shift plus ? Conjure Water
Shift plus > Conjure Bread
Shift plus < Conjure Mana Emerald
- To trade Water/Bread just Shift + Rightclick on a stack to move it into trade window instantly

Hope this will help you out a little. Don't forget that you can use Alt+ as well. It's very useful for a player like me without any buttons on the mouse, except the wheel.

Why is this "the best"?
It's difrent, from player to player. I prefer binding Q to frostbolt, and 1 to pvp trinket. It's difrent. Theres not the ultimate, binds.
