Changing Character Name?

Anyone have any tips of tricks to get my characters name changed? Anything i can say or do to GM to get it done?

PS, i just read i can delete my character, and make a new one and ask GM to restore it (maybe i will make up i was annoyed at the time and wanted to quit the game) I've not restored any items etc so would this be possible way?

I defenitly don't reccomend the "i was annoyed at the time and wanted to quit the game" cause the GM won't restore it, If your doing something like that than say your stupid brother deleted it or something in that area.

Or another way which I would try first is to say "People keep calling you bad stuff because of your name" and make sure why use the vulgarist stuff around :P

But this can only work for certain names like "Emo" or something like that :P

But theres no harm trying it and making up some BS

My name was Bobdylann and I said that people were calling me hippy and wouldnt let me in a group/guild because of my name. They let me change it. I changed it to Jefrydahmer. hahaha

Get a friend to send in a complaint about your name and say it was his dads name or something and it makes him sad when he sees it. Works every time
