If you could create a WoW profession what would it be?
Title basically asks it all. How would it work?
My idea? A profession that re-rolls mythic keystone keys. Not the affix but the dungeon itself. I feel like most professions are outdated and are gold centric. Being centered around gold is cool and all but gold being so inflated in 2020 WoW the professions have seem to lost their shine just baseline. To me a new profession would have to be a quality of life gameplay centered thing and being that mythic plus is one of the most popular WoW additions of all time why not make a profession based on them?

I just love KuRIoS
A profession that somehow actually balances the existing professions.
that, or, just blizzard fixing the professions so that herb/alch isn't automagically the best profession

I haven't played wow since forever... so this took some thinking : P
A 'Beast Mastery' profession, you would be allowed to 'tame' wild beasts and use them as mounts.
- Higher skill allows beasts from higher zones to be tamed. As a side-effect would result in older zones being repopulated for a while as well.
- Challenging Class Quest equivalent for profession where completing them allows you to sell your mount with higher ride speed % modifier.
- At significant professional skill milestone(300,400 etc.) allow a recipe to be learnt which crafts a temporary mount speed boost, at lower ones would be say a +10% to riding speed on a 30 minute timer, at a higher skill level +15% on a similar timer etc.. This would be a consumable for return demand.
- Character specific profession exclusive legendary mount at the end of it.

I was thinking about something like this recently.. What about an explorer's league profession that functions as like a mobile mission table for other players as well as some navigation perks. Maybe depending on the day of the week, you could get access to certain resource based missions and/or the ability to be sent or ported to certain destinations with a follow-up quest for the resource. It could have its own tmog perks especially backpacks that are obtainable.

introduce a system for dyeing gear/armor in different colors and decorate it with some small details by adding the Dye making profession
