How I scammed almsot $500

This started December 1, 2006. I created ONE free WoW account at www.warcraft.com. After creating that account I made a searched ctprofiles.net for good characters. I found a full t2 rogue. With this information I made a topic on www.markeedragon.com trying to trade the rogue. I got lots of offers. Yet only contacted two.

The first one was a Army Private in korea. He wanted to trade his t3 priest for it. He was nice and very easy. He gave me the pass right away. He had gotten hacked so he was nude. I sent in a <GM> ticket and month later i got the gear. I played nice with him and I took control of his account. The email was changed to mine and he gave me the sqa. I sold this for around $300.

The second one was some dude from somewhere. I talked with him and gave him the trial account. And he gave me his. He was a noob and didn't know how a trial account worked. I told him I has transferred the char to the account. He believed me and we changed the information. The account was now mine. Two weeks later I sold the account to someone again on www.markeedragon.com for $150.

Those two were a total of $450. All in a month. Sure thats a WHOLE month. But if I did this all day I would make thousands. I have figured out all questions and answers possible. I could probably scam someone smart and easily a noob. I do feel bad sometimes though. Any questions or comments can be posted. =P

This is postedin the scams section bout 2 or 3 times, But this is the first time ive actually seen someone make money out of it , Im not gonna say anything good cause im personally against stealing ppls accounts, But Gz i guess

Yeah I see people scam but no one really describes it or makes money of it.

tbh, nothing to be proud of. its one thing stealing and scamming made-up money (i.e, gold)...but actually robbing someone of their account to make RL money is just wrong. -rep if you had any

this pisses me off, i'm a legit trader on markee trying to sell my account and somebody msged me saying they had one to offer, he showed it to me in game and i showed mine. We traded accounts i played for like 2 weeks and one day I log on and the pass is changed i try recovering it with the secret question he gave me but he changed the email after he recalled. I tried asking him and he just blocked me. I'm trying to get mine back now. I got the char about 60k honor in those 2 weeks, scammers like you are just annoying, i don't really care if you scam fake money in WoW but scamming actual money/accounts is just being a fag. Even if i wanted to scam i don't think i could. My freind also payed $400 dollers for a T2/T3 mage and the guy did the same thing. Thier are alot of scammers on markee but thier are alot of good traders too.

Hmm, I wouldn't be spreading the fact you actually did this...
Scamming gold & items is acceptable, Hacking accounts its kinda borderline (depends what they have, who they are and how long they've poured into it), but getting people to pay real cash for stuff that you STOLE (and probably pissed off the original owner big-time), that is low. Too low. lts just out of order. Imagine your the t3 priest. You've probably spent around a year/two getting that, and to find out that all that time has just gone to nothing. You'd be miffed.

If you HAVE to do this, just transfer the gold/good BoE items he has, leave him with anything BoP, then tell contact him, and tell him something went wrong, and that your (supposed) character was frozen/hacked, and that you'd like to give his character back.
You'd gain a bit, He'd lose a bit, You wouldn't gain as much, but he wouldn't lose as much.

At the end of the day, its all down to morals.

I do have morals. I scam people out of a account and I do feel bad a little. Yet scamming someone of cash is jsut wrong. I would never accept the money and then take the account back. That is way past the line for me. I did this only twice and I do not plan on doing it again.

Well how do u get around the question when people ask to see ur toon in game and also do u get the email change first or account name and password first?
