    What Nihilum really means!

Firstly, if this is in the wrong forum feal free to move it.

Now on to the title topic. What Nihilum really means!
The word Nihil is a latin word meaning 'Nothing'. You're probably thinking, "Why would the best raiding guild Europe have guild name that means nothing?" The chances are that they didn't know what it meant, or that they didn't expect to be this good, u would have to go and ask one of there members.

The 'um' on the end is just an ending. If you really want to know it is in the 2nd declension table in the accusative form

It just proves that you do learn something knew everyday!

Nice find, I was thinking they just put their heads together to find something "cool" but maybe they used their l33t skillz to make a witty guild name?

    ...

of course they know what it mean. "Nothing" itself its a pretty cool guild name.

One more thing, doesn't the whole Nihilum means Nothing and not only the nihil. I googled some latin translators and all said it was nihilum and not nihil

Actually it comes from Old Greek. (going to write in in PHotoshop, since we don't have these letters here.)

    But it still means nothing.

(It's often used with the expression : Nihilum nuoe sine soculorum, what means nothing new under the sun.)
