Custom Minimap Arrow

I'm making an addon at the moment and I use the custom minimap arrow to point to coords.

model:SetModel("Interface\\Addons\\AelwynGuide\\Images\\Rotating-MinimapArrow.mdx")

However I would like to change the colour of the model or use the "Rotating-MinimapGuideArrow.blp" texture

I dont really understand models and how to tell the model what texture to use so its kind of confusing..

Any help would be apreciated.
