Vista problems with .XML etc!

Hey =P here comes some questions...

I have founded the most greatest WoWlevelingbots and more for free(and other), and i have downloaded it and it works 100% good.

here cames the sad point of it: i use VISTA, and i have used up my stupid s**t days on MS WORD and .XML .... but if i convert the .XML file to .txt does it still works? (can the downloaded file still read it?) would be very glad if any nice person could help me out here... becouse this is reaaaaaaally tricky and boring.


(Im to scared to try it out, becouse i dont want my wow to crash or something)
