Playing in Windowed Mode

I was curious if playing WoW in windowed mode affects the performance and/or visual quality of the game at all? I tried asking on the WoW tech support forum, but it barely got viewed..

Not really, i always play in windowed mode. Its so much better. The performance is the same but the window is a little smaller.

I love it cuz i have 2 screens and i can play wow and go on the internet at the same time =]

If you have Vista, then in windowed mode, its around 25% faster

i play in Maximized windowed mode, it looks exactly the same, but you dont have any more isues related to alt-tabbing ( and its also alot quicker to alt-tab )

Use windowed mode, it reduced any lag I had to 0, and will definitely speed your game/windows processes up. I don't know the technicalities of my opinion, but I'm pretty sure smaller window = uses less resources.

if you use windowed you use desktop gamma.
if you use non-windowed you can choose gamma.
